Background.
Projectors often pose common issues such as their unwieldy size, tangled wires, and an abundance of add-ons. However, the most prevalent challenge is the necessity for a tripod to secure and adjust the projector's angles and heights.
Ideation.
The focal point in refining the initial concepts centered around elevating the overall experience prioritizing seamless, unrestricted movement, protecting the lens and buttons, and ensuring portability. Above all, the key objective was to create an all-in-one, self-standing product that eliminates the need for additional support for rotation and stability.
I explored diverse forms through 3D printing, evaluating promising ideas against criteria like intuitiveness, compactness, independence, and design uniqueness.
